    TrackPlus was founded by David Hicks. A dynamic thinker and exceptional technical sales executive, David was part of the management team that developed and executed a plan to re-engineer DVT Corporation, a machine vision manufacturing company, when it was on the verge of closing its doors. He executed a channel strategy that encompassed marketing, sales training, prospecting, and in the trenches selling, that transformed DVT from an industry footnote to the premiè machine vision manufacturer in the market. David pioneered many innovative sales strategies such as, on-line forums, that combined DVT Corporation headquarters and channel partners in a meeting at the customer's site. The online forums were an excellent way of leveraging corporate resources as well as shortening the sales cycle significantly.

    In 2005, DVT was sold to Cognex for $115 million, making it one of Georgia Tech's Advanced Technology Development Center's most successful startups. Pursuing his passion for entrepreneurism, David founded and developed DataComplex Inc. Its EPCenter product is a cloud based platform as a service that uses a 4th generation event processing query language that allows companies like British Telecom, Citigroup, and others to create business intelligence, business process monitoring, and sensor fusion applications.
